On this long overdue episode of the podcast, Derek from Starkville’s House of El joins me as we talk about everyone’s favorite villain, Heroes – “Villains,” Infected villains, and the magnificent Dark Knight trailer. This is a long one, so grab some left over egg nog, and left over turkey sandwiches and settle in for a long winter’s geek out session.

After two weeks, Geek Out Loud returns. On the show we talk about the new Captain America, Heroes, Justice League (again) and a litle bit about the recent happenings at whysoserious.com and Rory’s Death Kiss dot com. There is also a little Smallville talk with a huge shout out to Derek over at Starkville’s House of El for letting me sit in and guest host on their most recent episode.</itunes:summary>

In this episode, BACK TO THE FUTURE gets an honorable mention, The Incredible Hulk is looking good, Justice League gives me a Smallville headache, and Heroes inspires a challenge. I do get a little negative towards the good folks at Warner Brothers Studios, so I apologize in advance. This is supposed to be a positive place.

On this, the second episode of Geek Out Loud, Jason from The NCN Blog and podcast joins us for some Heroes discussion. Well, it was SUPPOSED to be just Heroes discussion. We end up talking about Thor, the Justice League, the Avengers, and old times collecting comics.

Then, The Best Little Sister in the world joins me for a little Smallville talk. This is a long one, so we tried to make the Smallville talk a little abbreviated. Also, please excuse the “uhms” and “ahs” in the Smallville portion of the show.

In an effort to get all my ducks in a row with the podcast, I am going to repost all of the original 9 episodes before I get number 10 out. Here is what was originally posted way back in October of 2007 when we first heard those fateful words, “You’re listening to the Geek Out Loud Podcast.”

So this puppy’s later than an issue of All Star Batman and Robin. The stuff may seem a bit dated, but I get to talk about all of the stuff that has excited me lately, namely, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and Smallville. I do go off on a tangent or two here and there, and the Heroes talk is really short, but don’t worry, later this week, we’ll catch up on Heroes.

So settle in, grab a cup of coffee, and get ready to immerse yourself in total geekdom with me
