This transitional episode of Geek Out Loud hearkens back to the days when randomness abounded on the show. We roll through some rather in depth e-mails, and one not so deep, and then it’s on to talking our favorite Superhero of all time…SUPERMAN! All this, and a Round 3 to boot. Oh, and does anyone remember Spaceballs being rated PG-13 when it was released in theatres? Because I do.
Steve and Derek are joined by special guest Graham Hancock and we devote an entire episode to the return of The Muppets to theaters worldwide. We went live for this one, so the audio is a bit wonky. All in all we had a great time talking about a movie that we all enjoyed. Spoilers abound, so if you haven’t seen the movie, you may want to hold off on listening.
It’s everything from comics to Clone Wars, Lost to Smallville, and everything in between as an impromptu call in show gets underway and more people than I imagined showed up. Of course we jump into the electronic mailbag which produces a performance by the Muppets, a discussion of Lost and V, and Cobra Commander orders a latte. All in all…it’s a really weird show.
