In this episode, we focus on The Incredible Hulk and that awesome trailer we finally got. We also focus in on some random geek outs thanks to your e-mails and comments. The home of Geek Out Loud has moved to it’s own location on the web.  The metamorphosis actually occurred during the show as halfway through the recording, I stopped what I was doing and brought the podcast to this site.    Go ahead and subscribe to the podcast through iTunes by clicking here.

The last podcast to make the move to the new locale….From March of ’08:

In this episode, we look at my first review in a big time magazine.  Talk a bit about Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and the rumored link between those two movies.  Then we jump into a little geeking out about Superman on film.  All this and some shout outs, shameless plugs, and geeky easter eggs on the return of the most “hard to stomach” podcast on the net.

Episode 8 from Dec/Jan ’07/’08:

Before I get into the show description, I apologize that this took so long to get out.  I have 50 different reasons why, but let’s be honest, I wouldn’t accept the excuses so neither should you, the listener have to.  There are some things said that are a little dated.  Like “Merry Christmas”, “Happy New Year”, “How about that light bulb, what a great invention.” etc.  But hopefully, you’ll enjoy it anyway.

On this long overdue episode of the podcast, Derek from Starkville’s House of El joins me as we talk about everyone’s favorite villain, Heroes – “Villains,”  Infected villains, and the magnificent Dark Knight trailer.  This is a long one, so grab some left over egg nog, and left over turkey sandwiches and settle in for a long winter’s geek out session.

Episode 7 – Shout Outs and Shameless Plugs

Here is Episode 7 from Dec. ’07:

While it’s not by best offering of a podcast ever, it is what it is.  In this episode I talk a Smallville, the viral campaign that is underway for THE DARK KNIGHT, JUSTICE LEAGUE casting rumors, and I answer some questions about Heroes and assign a new name or two.   Oh yeah, and David Hasslehoff comes to Geek Out Loud…sort of.  I mention him…WHILE I’M TALKING ABOUT KNIGHT RIDER.

This is the episode that was reviewed by Sci Fi Now…apparently it’s hard to stomach.   Here it is as originally posted in Nov. ’07:

This week on the podcast we have our usual Heroes and Smallville discussion.  There is a bit about the Writers’ Guild strike, and Marvel’s upcoming slate of movie projects.

Here are a few things I realize:

- I call the most recent episode of Smallville “Lara”. It’s really “Wrath.”

- I’m talking kind of fast.  At recording time I was hyped up on coffee.

- You’re listening.  I really appreciate it.

In my effort to post all nine of the first podcast, here is number 5 as it was originally posted in November of ’07:

After two weeks, Geek Out Loud returns.  On the show we talk about the new Captain America, Heroes, Justice League (again) and a litle bit about the recent happenings at whysoserious.com and Rory’s Death Kiss dot com. There is also a little Smallville talk with a huge shout out to Derek over at Starkville’s House of El for letting me sit in and guest host on their most recent episode.

This is Episode 4 of Geek Out Loud.  I am posting all 9 of the first episodes before releasing the newest episode 10.  Make sure that you are subscribed via iTunes or your podcatcher of choice as soon as possible.  Here’s what was originally posted back in November:

In this episode, BACK TO THE FUTURE gets an honorable mention, The Incredible Hulk is looking good, Justice League gives me a Smallville headache, and Heroes inspires a challenge.  I do get a little negative towards the good folks at Warner Brothers Studios, so I apologize in advance.  This is supposed to be a positive place.

Episode 3 – I’m All Alone

Posting the original nine episodes of Geek Out Loud before releasing the newest episode, episode ten.  Here’s what was posted back in October of ’07:

In this episode we finally get around to talking about those photos that leaked from the Dark Knight, we talk about the legal issues surrounding Superman, Heroes, Smallville, and a little more.

Episode 2 – Number 2 Blues

Posting all 9 of the first episodes before I put out the latest episode.  Here’s the now classic episode 2.  Here’s what was originally posted:

On this, the second episode of Geek Out Loud, Jason from The NCN Blog and podcast joins us for some Heroes discussion.  Well, it was SUPPOSED to be just Heroes discussion.  We end up talking about Thor, the Justice League, the Avengers, and old times collecting comics.

Then, The Best Little Sister in the world joins me for a little Smallville talk.  This is a long one, so we tried to make the Smallville talk a little abbreviated.   Also, please excuse the “uhms” and “ahs” in the Smallville portion of the show.

In an effort to get all my ducks in a row with the podcast, I am going to repost all of the original 9 episodes before I get number 10 out.  Here is what was originally posted way back in October of 2007 when we first heard those fateful words, “You’re listening to the Geek Out Loud Podcast.”

So this puppy’s later than an issue of All Star Batman and Robin.  The stuff may seem a bit dated, but I get to talk about all of the stuff that has excited me lately, namely, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and Smallville.  I do go off on a tangent or two here and there, and the Heroes talk is really short, but don’t worry, later this week, we’ll catch up on Heroes.

So settle in, grab a cup of coffee, and get ready to immerse yourself in total geekdom with me
